Family day

This year we went up to Calgary and hung out with Garett's brother and his family. Our kids get along so well and it is torture for them when we have to leave. So we decided to go up and spend the night since Navy had an appointment the next day at the childrens hospital.

We went to Fish Creek, had a bon fire and cooked wieners and marshmallows.

It was a bit chilly out but the kids didnt seem to mind. Navy was LOVING it...it was her first real snow experience.

The kids were all busy playing in their snow house, and jaks just stood by the fire. poor little boy was freezing and couldnt walk very good in his pink hand-me-down boots.

asked Brett to take a quick family photo of us since it is family day..... I think it would have turned out cute if the focus was actually on us rather than the trees behind us.

"A" for effort I guess.
