I found them like this the other day....behind our rocking chair giggling and getting along, which doesnt happen all that often....but when it does its totally awesome!

His Dream

I can almost say its been months....well maybe a couple months that Garett has been constantly on the internet looking at cars. Since these old classic cars dont really lose their value....Gar thought this would be a great way to invest some money {he cant really trust anyone else to handle our money in the stock market...I dont blame him} And I kinda liked the idea of it too...that will give me a good excuse to get Garett to take me on some dates!!

So he took a chance and bought the car without even looking at it in person. Crossing our fingers, we drove down to shelby to meet the truck with our car on it......well see for yourself...she is a beauty. Gar thinks the name Ruby Jean is fitting......nice...I have always wanted to name my Girls that name....love it

We brought the 2 youngest with us....watching the car out the window. I buckled them in so I could do my duty and get some pictures of the car.....poor kidos...it was a long day!

guilty...taking pictures while driving. I would never do that normally but since we were going like 60km/hr I thought it would be ok.

new teeth

we were brushing teeth last night and I noticed Jaks is getting 3 molars in at the same time. I was kinda excited about it cause with Kaida I didnt ever know when she was teething and I wouldnt have known with Jaks either.....but last night I spotted them all. He was pretty excited about it too.

Yesterday the kids found the "too small to wear anymore" pile. Kaida all of a sudden is attached to all these clothes that dont fit. and Jaks thinks he is too...so he is wearing PJ's from summer. ha

I dug out my knitting needles again and I can't put them down. Im totally addicted. When I have a free second thats all I want to do.....

this is a darling little newborn hat I am making. Navy wore it in her newborn shoot and Ive been obsessed with it ever since..so im making one!


I also just got this lovely new fur....so yummy and soft. I LOVE IT! and that yellowness in the background is a camera strap slip cover. it turned out REALLY cute! its a mustard yellow velvet. And I have an extra one if anyone is interested!



I gotta say....I love it when im in the crafty mode!

the bus.

Ron drives bus, so he offered to pick up Kaida from school and drop her off so I didnt have to get out with the kids....AWESOME!


Kiada said she was scared of the big kids cause they are too loud, but she loves to ride the bus.

movie time.

Garett took Jaks with him to run some errands. When they came home I was wondering where Jaks was.......


stayed out there forever and watched a movie in the van by himself...haha

the accident.

A couple of days ago...when Garett was at work, Kaida was walking into the kitchen and tripped over a toy and landed face first on the tile step going into our kitchen. ouch!

When I first looked at it I was freaking out. it looked like her lip was cut in half, her teeth were still in tact and there was a pool of blood in her mouth.

I got her a cold wash cloth and called Garetts parents to see if they could watch the kids while I took Kaida to the hospital to get it checked out.

Kaida was a little worried about going to the hospital. She thought she was going to have to get stitches and so did I.

But she didnt, the cut was more on the inside part of her lip and they dont do stitches in the mouth because it heals so nicely on its own.

So that was the most pleasant trip to the ER I have ever had, quick, easy, and the nurse was surprisingly nice...which is rare!


Jaks felt really bad ofter it happened. he took the toy she tripped over and slammed it onto the hard kitchen floor.



poor little girl. we cuddled for most the day.



day 2....still really swollen but she is eating more, but very carefully. this is a grapefruit. she LOVES grapefruit.

snow.

The weather has turned a bit nicer on us and my kids have been taking advantage. our back yard, for the last couple months has been the shape of a perfectly nice half pipe with all of this drifting. it has looked so tempting and we finally got to go play in it this week!

I helped the kids make a snowman. no arms for this snowman, although the thought crossed kaidas mind to rip a couple branches off our tiny new trees. ha.
