we had awesome weather this trip so we made good use out of the pools.

our fist real day down in cali just happened to be my birthday. in our house its tradition to have birthday crepes....but I never seem to get them cause we are always on holidays.

but his year my wonderful mom had everything all ready and garett willingly whipped them up for me....

February

Well its that time of year again!! And I must say I quite enjoy the month of February...My birthday....family trips.....short and sweet!

This year we are planning our trip back down to California for the 4th strait year in a row! I wasn't going to push it this year because our little family isnt so little anymore and my parents motor home is that indeed...a motor home...a very nice one but still too small for 7 people. But Garett landed some tickets to UFC so he planned a little trip around it.

I am of course way excited to go down and shop, and the kids are over the top excited to see my parents...me too!

So me and Kaida were getting ready for sandal weather and I gave us a little pedicure. Jaks hates being left out and wanted so badly to have his toes done too...and I could let him feel left out....

Kurbie called me yesterday and needed a family picture really quick. I think they turned out really cute!

Tea Party!!

I decided to surprise Kaida with a Tea party because I knew she would love it!

I originally was going to wait until Jaks had his nap to do it, but I knew he would love it too so I did a lunch Tea Party.

I made butterfly sandwiches
cheese, pickles and crackers...a family favorite!

Garett even attended out party before he left for work. {thats my new headband earwarmer that I knitted a couple days ago}



It was a HUGE hit. the kids LOVED pouring the juice and drinking out of the mini cups.

Curly Shirley!

So Kaida bugged me about putting her hair in sponge rollers one night...I talked her out of it....but the next time she reminded me about it was Saturday night....and as much as i wanted to i just couldnt say no.

so we curled her up...I knew it was going to be VERY curly when she woke up, but that didnt get to her.

well...she woke up....and it was curley....VERY curly! she wasnt too sure about it! but by the time church came around it had tamed down enough that i just might be ok.

she got alot of compliments and now she aways wants it curley.



She was really workin it for me today! so i had to take advantage....



Jaks had to get in there too....love these kids! Kaida gave him a hug and he is ticklish like me behind the ear...so even just breathing makes him squirm.

Im so glad when daddy comes home!

It's always fun when Garett comes home after hes been away to work or even just a run to the grocery store!

the kids go wild, and i get to sit back and relax and watch them love on their dad

Jaks is getting to the age where he loves to wrestle and I know garett loves it too.
