a day of firsts

Today Jaks thought it would be awesome if he tried to shave his lip like daddy does his face. Didn't quite go as planned I'm thinking. He didn't even cry...tough boy.

I recently bought some used skates {which I RARELY do because 2nd had stuff kinda grosses me out} because they were dirt cheap and still looked really nice. So we too the kids skating for FHE.

At first they both HATED it...Jaks quite 30 seconds in and Kaida was whining like a baby...but I stuck with her and by golly in a few minutes she was having the time of her life and didn't want to leave.

Navy and Jaks happily stood behind the glass and watched.


But come time to leave they both wanted a turn!! We really need to get our selves some skates!!

he is 3....love this boy!!


and not to mention its a week till christmas and i haven't wrapped a single gift. wowzers i feel so behind on everything!!! maybe someday i will catch up on my blogging!!

the kids had a blast this year!! navy wasn't too sure about it though.

The spray park

One nice thing we have here in Regina is a spray park a few blocks away. Luckily Kelsey was in town and got these shots of us at the park. It is next to impossible for me to take my camera anywhere I go with my kiddos

back to this muddy mess!! our trip home was nice, but its good to be back with the man of the house! and our drive was exceptionally better....more to come with that later....i left my computer at home and am only using the ipad for now.
